The two Houses of the Parliament enjoy co-equal powers because: (i) Either House can frame charges and impeach the President for violation of the Constitution. (ii) An Ordinary Bill can originate in either House of the Parliament and must be passed by both the Houses of Parliament. (iii) Both the House have equal rights of asking questions or bringing in various kinds of motions against the Govememnt.
