Can I grow a trumpet vine from seed pod or cutting?

1 Answer

Answer :

Trumpet vine will grow very well from a cutting.  Be careful where you plant it.  I planted one to grow up the side of the porch so it would give me privacy from the neighbors.  My husband says it is eating the house!!  It has gotten under the shingles, in the gutters, under the siding and anywhere else it wanted to go.  It requires MAJOR pruning about twice a year (spring and late summer).  New shoots come up everywhere....in the lawn, in the gardens and between the cracks in the driveway.    Good luck with yours!
