Answer :

Non-fruit bearing fig trees and vines are tempremental and drop leaves when moved. I wouldn't be surprised if the fruit bearing variety do the same. Be sure you planted the tree at the same level it was in the pot. Water it in well. Give it a chance to acclimate itself.
