Do cottonwood leaves hurt St. Augustine grass

1 Answer

Answer :

Cottonwood leaves have a higher alkaline which can give the soil a higher PH..........some people collect them and mulch them away from grass & plant and then amend it to use later as mulch.  So when you cut the grass you could use your grass bagger and move it off the grass to a mulch area away from your plants.
