If you want big peaches, you have to thin some out now or it will break the branches.  Ours are not ready until the beginning of August when the bees start to sting them, we pick the whole tree.  PH for peach is 6.0-8.0  do dormant oil in early spring up to bud stage.........then only the trunk........again in the fall.
