Answer :

U sure can. Remove all but 4 or 5 leaves. Score the bottom of gardenia cutting all around stem for about an inch. Dip in root hormone and plant in potting medium. Do not pack soil tightly around cutting. Leave it loose. PLace a trash bag over pot u plant cutting in and check on it from time to timel. When Spring arrives, your lil girl should be ready to plant in ground.
