Last Answer : I’d assume it’s so no one will go into a grocery store with a “75 cents off” coupon and demand to redeem it for cash. If you’d have to collect twenty of them and then you’d get only one cent in exchange, well, you probably wouldn’t bother.

Last Answer : Any store that has a self-checkout I will use. Right now this is one grocery store chain, Loblaws, and some Home Depots. None of the Wal-marts I’ve been to save one in Ogdensburg, New York have self-checkouts. Our libraries have them. It’s really handy.
