Before I moved to Michigan many years ago I heard from Michigan natives how wonderful Vernor’s was / is, so naturally I tried it when I first got there, because I like ginger ale. In my opinion it was entirely over-rated—and the myth about it being “good for your stomach” is just that: a myth. All of today’s commercial ginger ales have far too much sugar (and the diet versions have their own problems) to be “good for you”. You’re better off with tea or plain water.
