answer:peggylou, always listen to your son….my mom agrees with me I recommend any photo printer that has Dye-sublimation thermal print method with protective overcoating. The Canon SELPHY line has some good ones. You would be hard pressed to find a printer out there that is not mac (or apple) compatible these says as long as you are running 10.2 or higher. HTH!
