Answer :

Acetone is pretty harsh, back in the nineties I destroyed many of my favorite CDs by picking them up after doing my nails. I still have a tv remote with my fingerprints burned into it thanks to Acetone nail polish remover. It destroys your nails, I won’t touch the stuff anymore.
