Should I just get a 1080p monitor or go for a higher resolution?

1 Answer

Answer :

Never go 16:9, get a 16:10 monitor. 1920×1200 is much nicer to use than 1920×1080. 120 pixels might not seem like much, but it everday usage, you’ll really notice. HDMI has a higher bandwidth than DVI, which is usefull on high res and high refresh rate screens. At the resolutions you’re using, it realy shouldn’t be necessary to use HDMI.
