The question would be where did you get the content? I’ve never had VLC lag on anything except for damaged video files. Then when VLC tries to fix them they come out worse then before. Are you playing this straight from your hard drive or from a USB drive, or DVD drive or what? You’ll see the best performance off the hard drive.
