I have straight, thick, Asian hair, too, except I’d probably call my hair fine. Here are some looks I am liking right now: this bob, this, and this, and this. I am liking blunt cuts, which can be achieved with thick hair by “thinning out” your hair under the top layer of hair so that the layers are not visible. I think an a-line haircut would look messy if you don’t take the time to flat iron and blow dry it out, but this is just a guess from looking at others with this cut as I have always just assumed it is too high maintenance for me. Another low maintenance cut might be something like this. I don’t have super straight hair, there is a tiny bit of wave to it so it sometimes can look like a straighter version of this with little effort.
