I have known people who have wondered that because they have so many medical issues and, it turns out, that they are not exaggerating… they do have these issues. The mother of one of my best friends wondered if she was a hypochondriac because some of her medical problems were known about at the time and some where not. Had she been alive and having these issues now, they would have been identified. As it turned out, the health problems, both known and unknown, killed her. She is not the only person I have known who wonders this who is not a hypochondriac. I have also known people who have wondered if they are hypochondriacs and it turns out they are.
