Last Answer : Generally yes. JohnPowell is right. Plus many competitions feature tiered prizes- e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. get decreasingly smaller prizes but still SOME compensation. Ooo- also, I’m pretty sure the answer is ‘no’ to the SAG thing.

Last Answer : Reality TV is cheap because they don’t have to pay actors. It’s not going away any time soon. However my answer is a resounding “yes”. It’s just lazy programming.

Last Answer : answer:To call it a disease is probably stretching it. It’s recognized as a disorder, in that it is a behavior/trait that negatively impacts the life of the person who hoards. I guess it could rise to the level of mental illness (e.g., cat hoarders), but I don’t see why it necessarily has to.

Last Answer : I’m sure they are….I was just discussing this with my mom the other night. She thinks it’s all real on ‘that show’, I’m more skeptical since the fights don’t get very serious. Plus some of those hardcore gangbangers in there would be whipping out some guns if reality.

Last Answer : No, but they’re an interesting reflection on what people want to see and why. There has to be conflict, why else would people who need instant gratification watch them? In some ways, there are many people like that out there, they find a mirror for themselves.
