answer:I’m not quite sure what you mean that the volume changes? Are you recording with a microphone or some other direct connection? You can get the software to do a playthrough to speakers connected to the PC in the Edit > Preferences > Recording section there’s a checkbox for software playthrough. (I use a small mixing board, partially to avoid using this, since I want to record some things in stereo, but I’m doing more than just keys, so I don’t know that that’s practical for everyone.)
