answer:I generally don’t go that far East, but I hear that Preet’s is pretty decent. (Also, I am a sucker for Indian food.). I have to say that most of the vegetarian/veg-friendly places I’ve seen here tend to be either more Bohemian than upscale or non-American (often Indian). One thing you need to remember is that Seattle and the surrounding area is not Texas! In fact, if you’ve been here for any length of time, you will have already noticed that. As a result, you’ll be hard pressed to find someplace that is even close to Benjy’s around here. About the closest you’ll find is Southern Barbecue, and I doubt that you’ll find a place that does brisket and pulled **** to be vegetarian-friendly.
