answer:“I didn’t need to know anything he didn’t want to tell me” If it were me, and I wasn’t gay, this would sound like you were saying that I was lying when i said I wasn’t. But I didn’t really hear the conversation, either, so it’s hard to say one way or the other. If I were the type to give advice, this is the point I would really apologize for and I would do so. If he didn’t accept it, at least the apology was offered.
