Why will the satellite that is re-entering the earth's atmosphere going to burn into pieces, but the manned spaceships didn't?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:As far as I know it has to do with the angle an object enters the atmosphere with. A manned spaceship uses an angle, calculated to get the least friction. The satellite probably has an angle that gives more friction (when entering) thus it will desintegrate (although not totally I have heard…, parts of it apparently will make it through and will fall on Earth). That is my lay men’s knowledge of it. And I will do it anyway…., your name is @chyna. Flag me! ;-)
