answer:Since no veterinarians have answered this I thought that I’d give my answer. It was my goal to become a veterinarian when I entered college with Zoology major. It was a good plan however I didn’t get the grades. At the time (the mid 1970’s) I needed a nearly perfect 4.0 average and know a veterinarian who would write me a recommendation which I didn’t have. I got A’s and B’s in my biology classes but did worse in chemistry, physics and math. There were other options open to me with a B.A. in Zoology. I chose to get my credentials in Clinical Laboratory Science. I have no regrets for failing to become a veterinarian. I did my best and gave it the old college try. All the best to you!
