As to conspiracy theories—I’m not sure what the conspiracy is. It does seem that the UK and the US are cooperating to study methods of cooling the earth through geoengineering techniques. It would seem sensible that the public sector (which is to say, us) would want a say over how this is done, especially since we don’t want to be poisoned. At least, I don’t. So I honestly don’t understand this question. Perhaps you could clear it up? One thing I find surprising is that the Republican chair of the science and technology committee is even willing to look into this, since Republicans don’t believe in global warming.
