answer:Once a question is returned to a user for editing, the mods are unable to do anything else with it. It will stay under that user’s control until they either edit it or abandon it. Once a users makes the required corrections and resubmits it, the mods have to approve it before it will post on the site again. Sometimes we have to send questions back again because they still have mistakes. How long this takes may vary depending on if a mod is around at the time of the re-submission or not.
