answer:Sounds like it could be the flu, although flu usually has a very high fever and it’s so exhausting you usually feel like you can’t get out of bed. Otherwise, it’s some sort of virus or bacterial infection. If it were me I’d keep my fever down with ibuprofen, take some Tussin DM cough medicine now and then, and see how it goes over the next few days. The flu usually let’s up a little after 4 days. Other illnesses with cough, the cough often lasts up to three weeks. If you have some congestion that is yellow or green I would go to the doctor for antibiotics if you don’t improve in a few days. If you suddenly get much worse, having trouble breathing, can’t keep your fever below 103, or feel something is very wrong go to the ER. I’m not a doctor, that’s just what I would do.
