That’s a red flag to me! I’m not an expert in any way on real estate, and neither are you. That’s why this is not a good idea. Anything can happen and you will not be protected. Another thing you might want to think about is the “seclusion “. You have kids and you will be running them all over the place because you will have no neighbors for them to play with. My nephew is in the same boat. He bought a place far out and they spend most of their time on the road running the kids to ball games, school, play dates.
