The most important part of an outdoor enclosure for your camera is preventing water from getting into the camera and the lens. Here is a link to show an enclosure: http://www.Flickr.com/photos/86435489@N00/3210014123/ - it appears they used an old CD/DVD case and cut a hole in the end to secure the lens. You are able to access the camera body by snapping off the bottom of the case.
