There are three main ways to look for a student scholarship. One is a good free internet service, the second is to look locally and the third is through your college or university. Some free sites are Fastweb.com, Petersons, and the college boards. These sites keep your information confidential unless you release it, and notify you later if they add a scholarship for which you're eligible. For local scholarships talk with your guidance counselor, contact your parents or your own workplace, look at organizations like Rotary and Kiwanis, and at your local religious organizations. Also contact the college you are going to find out what scholarships are available for students there.
