Consideration is given to the individual's health history, current health condition and status as well as to the individual's willingness to understand that the Lap Band is simply a tool in the weight loss process, rather than a magical fix. A reputable bariatric clinic reviews each client individually. There really is no age limit for a patient to have the lap band surgery. However, with any surgery there are certain risks and the older you get the higher the risks so your surgeon will evaluate you based on your situation.
