Basic research (pure or fundamental research) is inquiry aimedat increasing scientific knowledge. It is completely theoretical,that focus on basic principles and testing theories. In basicresearch we add some knowledge to the existing one. And also basicresearch deals with generalization and formulation of theory abouthuman behaviour.Applied research aimed at using basic research for solvingproblems or developing new process, product or techniques. And alsoin applied research we try to find out solutions to the problem athand. It can be applied to real life situations. Such studiesparticular set of circumstances, so as to related the result to itsequal circumstances.
