Generally the only people that get toldare relatives or people who the patient has identified as permittedvisitor. There is also a lit of people the patirnt forbids beingtold any thing or allowing to visit. The reason is to preventconflict in the hospital as some people are not honourable in theirintentions for what to do with the information or for the visit.Just wanting to know is not a good enough reason. Thinking you havea need or right to know isn't good enough either.
