Connect the same mobile to the cable

I have a cable to a PC for mobile (I upload photos through it). A friend has a mobile phone from another brand, but the socket for the cable to the PC looks the same. Can't I destroy his cell phone if I connect it over my cable? So as not to burn or something

nothing happens .... you can connect it normally even if it needs to be charged ... I also use some non-original cables .... and I never had a problem ... Cable ... is not the only way .. how to get data from a mobile phone and vice versa .. personally I mostly use Onedrive and if it has an application from google play ... I have more PCs and mobile phones ... so I would have to connect it and download it from the card to the PC to give the card to another mobile phone ..etc ... it's been a long time I just upload the data to one and I have access to it from any device ... plus sending more data to both .... I just throw a link to the share and the downloader downloads it ... ☢ ☠ ☣ ☠ ☣ ☠ ☣ ☢ ☢
