notebook lenovo-functionality spacebar

Hello, I have a new Lenovo laptop. The spacebar is long, but responds only partially, in the middle, its ends do not work. When writing all ten, I have to move my thumb to the center of the space bar if I want spaces between words. Is this a normal condition? Thank you for Janky's answer
