Uranus is a planet in the solar system. It is the seventh largest from the Sun and the third largest in terms of size. William Herschel's name is particularly associated with the discovery of this planet. This planet was originally observed by many astronomers , but they could not consider it as a planet in the solar system. John Flamstead visited the planet at least six times in 1890. He named this planet as one of the constellations of Taurus in his constellation 34 Tauri. The French astronomer Pierre Lemonier observed the planet about 12 times between 1850 and 189 AD. But he also identified it as a star. Sir William Herschel first observed the planet exclusively on March 13, 161, and on April 26 of that year referred to it as a comet. Later, after more in-depth observations, he recognized it as a planet in the solar system. At first, many astronomers did not want to admit it. Eventually it was recognized internationally as a planet.
