What is the cornea of the eye ?

1 Answer

Answer :

The cornea is the transparent part of the front of the eye. It covers the Irish and the Pupils. A pupil is a hole in the middle of the Irish that looks black in cataract-free eyes and gray or white in cataract-dependent eyes depending on the degree of maturity of the cataract. The cornea must be transparent for normal vision. The absence of any blood vessels in the cornea is one of the reasons for its transparency. Due to its transparency, light enters the eye through it and can fall on the retinal retina. Then we see an object. The cornea helps in the penetration of light rays.
