The two differences between organic and inorganic compounds are mentioned below: 1. All organic compounds must have carbon in their molecules. Such as: CH 4, C 2 H 3 OH etc. But molecules of inorganic compounds may or may not contain carbon. Inorganic compounds can be made up of all kinds of elements. Such as: NH 3, CO 2 etc. 2.
