Moist calcium sulphate is called gypsum. Pure white gypsum is rarely found. Gypsum is a very important element for the plant body. It is used as fertilizer. In the production of plaster of Paris and ammonium sulphate , gypsum is used to prepare the floor of the building , to increase the weight and smooth the paper.
