The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council is the highest body for implementing the policy set by the National Economic Council ( NEC) . Final approval of projects other than foreign-aided projects comes from ECNEC . The President of ECNEC is (in the present system of government) the Prime Minister. Ministers from other ministries, including industry , finance , and construction, are members of ECNEC . Also present at the meeting are Cabinet Secretary , Members of General Economics Department of Planning Commission and other concerned members , Governor of Bangladesh Bank , Secretaries of Economic Relations , Finance , Planning Department and IMED , Secretaries of concerned Ministries and Chief of Army Staff of ECNEC. This meeting is usually held every week.
