What are the advantages and disadvantages of simple scale ?

1 Answer

Answer :

There are several advantages to using a simple scale. This scale makes it easy to know the distance between two places on the top of the map. Moreover , this scale is an easy way for ordinary people to understand. When a simple scale map is scaled or enlarged with the help of a photostat machine or camera, the scales are scaled or enlarged proportionally. As a result, this scale is also effective on altered maps. The disadvantage of this scale is that it does not make it possible to take fine measurements, and the unit of measurement used in it is less popular in a country where it is obsolete . For this reason, at present a simple scale is drawn and given below it with a ratio of pledge.
