An analog computer is powered by variable electric waves. It is basically a measuring instrument based on the principles of physics. Electric waves generated for variable data such as pressure , heat , fluid flow, etc. are used as input to analog computers. This type of computer performs processing by understanding the data from the variable voltage. Such computers are used to measure the flow and temperature of liquids in oil refineries. This is quite different from digital computers. Analog computer works Analog computer works in a measuring way . Analog computers work by measuring the voltage fluctuations of electrical wires , the pressure of air or fluid inside or outside a pipe , or the fluctuations in air flow and pressure.
