Abul Barkat was a student of the Department of Political Science at Dhaka University and was born in the village of Babla Bharatpur in Murshidabad, India. Abdul Jabbar's home is in Pachua village of Raona union in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh district. Rafiq Uddin Ahmed, a student of Jagannath College at that time, was born in Paril village of Singair upazila of Manikganj district.
