What is leakage flux ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Leakage Flux: When the AC supply is applied to the primary of the transformer , the flux that is generated does not go through the entire T core to the secondary . This flux is usually of no use in generating voltage in the secondary so it is called leakage flux.
