NASA (English: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is the national space agency of the United States. Founded in 1956, the company is headquartered in Washington DC. The former NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) was dissolved and NASA was established on July 29, 1956 under the National Aeronautics and Space Act . Its role in the US space mission can be traced back to the Apollo lunar mission , the Skylab space station and the space shuttle . NASA is one of the five agencies involved in the International Space Station project. NASA has no office in Bangladesh.
