What kind of trees do not have roots that come up to the surface and become new trees?

1 Answer

Answer :

Most trees that are watered properly will not develop surface roots as you described.  Trees need to be watered deeply and slowly at the drip line.  Most trees planted in a lawn are watered by the lawn sprinklers which means they are not watered deeply and slowly causing roots to surface.
