Answer :

Yes, you can freeze summer squash.  First, clean your squash well.  Then slice about 1/4" thick.  I just use a food saver system to freeze mine.  It seals well and keeps out the frost.  I have kept mine in freezer for as long as 6 months before using.  Remember, once thawed they will be limp.  Still good for boiling or in casseroles.
