Can I plant Forsythia in partial shade?

1 Answer

Answer :

That is exactly how we have ours planted partial shade & sun and we planted them to keep the road dust off the porch and now they are 8 to 10 ft high, we trimmed them after they flowered.  Early Spring we trimmed some branches off right when we saw little bumps on the branches and we used a drill and made holes in the ground and just stuck them in pushed the dirt around then about 6 inches into the ground and watered them and they also came up.  Those we planted about 1 ft apart.
