How do I get rid of Cherry Maggots?

1 Answer

Answer :

We spray our trees in the fall after the leaves drop & again in the spring up until the bud opens once the bud opens we only spray the trunk.  If you spray when the blossoms open you will kill the bees.  Bees are needed to polunate the trees.  We use dormant oil....it has a fall mix and a spring mix................wear long old clothes, mask, goggles, gloves & hat.........spray until you use the mix do not save it.  Keep children & pets away until it dries.  Good luck with this years crop.  We use this on all our fruit trees.
