How long will it take a hydrangea to bloom after pruning it too far back?

1 Answer

Answer :

Most bloom on old wood.  Mine were killed back twice this spring because of late freezing weather.  I had one or two blooms in the midle of the plant which was protected.  So my plants put out new wood and should bloom next year unless killed back again.
