Answer :

You can start by heating some milk (2%) in a saucepan and pour the now lukewarm milk at the base of the cactus then gently wrap the base of the cactus  you will need to change out the newspaper every 3 to 4 days and apply the milk treatment at around 2 oz milk with each application, very 2 - 3 days, you should see a remarkable difference after the two week mark -Birdy
