I've saved multiple people from committing suicide, even being on the bridge talking them off. My family have no clue and never will. I realised after I became disabled and stuck in a wheelchair that they just don't care; their inner culture isn't who I am and that makes me alien. But it's fine, because life is too short to feel a nauseating constant need to prove oneself to people who are just that - people.
