I wrote a short story like that, but I’ve never published it and I doubt that it is the one you are thinking of. There was no refrigerator sucked in, just an entire house, and the main character, almost. Of course, it was all in his mind, because he was dead and didn’t know it. Oh crap, I’ve spoiled it. Now I want to read the one you are trying to find, just out of curiosity.
