Speaking for myself, I’m leaning toward an optimistic outlook for positive change in America with Obama in the White House. As a military member, I’m also happy with the fact that I have a commander-in-chief that I can now respect. It has been less than a week since President Obama took the oath of office so I think it is probably too early to make an accurate prediction of the impact he is going to have yet on the country. I find him to be very intelligent, articulate, and sincere so that is why I am comfortable being optimistic at this time and expecting good things from him. Only time will tell though.
